Terms of Service

1. The service

SubOps provides commercial control software for construction subcontractors, covering payment applications, certificates, retention and cash tracking. SubOps records and organises your commercial data; it does not provide legal, accounting or quantity-surveying advice, and outputs do not constitute professional advice.

2. Accounts and tenants

Each subscribing company operates in its own isolated tenant. You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered, for the actions of users you invite, and for keeping credentials secure.

3. Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly per company via Stripe, starting after a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial; you will not be charged before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time from billing settings — access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices exclude VAT, which is charged where applicable.

4. Your data

Your commercial data remains yours. If your subscription lapses, access is suspended but data is retained for a reasonable period to allow reactivation, after which it may be deleted on request or per our retention policy.

5. Liability

SubOps is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
